FreshCut Update - March

🤝 Successful Launch of Communities

Earlier in March, we launched Communities, our own take on thriving content hubs for our users and creators. Following gaming communities on FreshCut will give full access to the sickest clips, hot topics, interesting discussions, your favorite creators content and more - all in one place.

We launched Communities with a bang by starting off with some of the most popular games/categories on the market, including Warzone, Fortnite, Super Smash Bros, League of Legends, Valorant, and Variety. Following launch, we introduced a Roblox Community, too!

Within this launch also came a host of new features, including more content types, native mobile upload and a complete overhaul of the viewer experience! You can read more on that update here.

P.S We know there's high demand for other communities, including FGC, Apex Legends and Overwatch. We plan to bring to life more communities in the near future 🙏

🥊 Ultimate Summit 6 and Collision

This March, we sponsored two of the biggest Smash events around: Ultimate Summit and Collision.

Freshcut has always been about empowering creators and building strong relationships with the Smash community. At Ultimate Summit and Collision, we made countless connections with some of the biggest players in the game, along with dedicated community members. We launched a social challenge with Collision, and hosted numerous giveaways on FreshCut alongside your favorite Smash creators for Ultimate Summit 6. The Freshcut family continues to grow and we couldn't be happier with the progress we've made in the Smash community.

🎁 Giveaway Madness

We’ve been going giveaway crazy, and admittedly, are having a lot of fun doing so! In celebration of our community's launch and new partners joining the platform, we’ve given away a ton of the good stuff, including game points, gift cards, signed controllers… and even game consoles!

It's been great to see the enthusiasm that everyone had for these activations, and these giveaways have been a fun way to give back. Stay tuned for more coming in April! 🥳

🏆 VALORANT Tournaments

In case you’ve missed it, we’ve been bashing out some fun VALORANT tournaments for y’all to take part in. With prize pools ranging from $500-$5,000, we recommend you check them out over on our Events channel on Discord!

March is Women's History Month, and we couldn't let it pass by without recognizing some of the amazing women who are part of the Freshcut community. From the content creators who inspire us with their creativity to some of our employees who work hard to make our platform even better, we're grateful for all that they do.

🐌 Pesky Bug Fixes

As with any new launch, we've had some glitches and hiccups along the way. Our devoted tech team has been working tirelessly to identify and fix any issues that may have popped up with Communities.

We appreciate everyone's patience as we smooth out the kinks and continue to make our platform even better. Thank you to all those who've left feedback over the last few weeks, we appreciate it! ❤️

🚀 Product Roadmap for 2023

Finally, we're looking ahead to the rest of the year and planning out our roadmap with the team. We can't wait to share all the new features and initiatives we have lined up for our community. Stay tuned for exciting new developments in the coming months 🥳
